We started the day with the big question what does it mean to be accepting of others, watched a video clip, participated in hand-on activities to practice acceptance and showing empathy to others. Ended the day with the movie Wonder and reflection. Students wrote a personal pledge and came up with an action plan to be more accepting of others. It was a great day in 6th grade!
